长期致力于有限码长信息论及其在通信、信号处理等领域的应用,主要研究成果在于提出或利用短码长信息论分析技巧研究了多终端有损信源编码、点对点的非匹配通信、多连接的无线通信、基于信源编码的密钥生成、分布位置的统计异常检测等问题,为高效有损数据(视频、音频)压缩、具备鲁棒性的高可靠通信、基于密钥的安全通信等问题提供了理论基础与比较基准,从而为构建高可靠、低时延、强安全的通信网络提供信息论层面的理论支撑。在上述研究方向,主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、北京市自然科学基金面上项目,参与国家重点研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金联合基金重点项目。主要成果发表在计算机科学理论方向CCF A类期刊IEEE Transactions on Information Theory (TIT)、网络与信息安全方向CCF A类期刊IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS) 以及电信学中科院分类1区期刊IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (JSAC)。近五年以第一作者发表CCF A类期刊论文13篇,其中TIT 10篇,期刊论文如下:
