Abstract:

Cryptography isone of the most important core technologies for information security. Nowadays,rapid growth of big data processing and IoT enable services among multipleorganizations bring both promising prospects and security&privacy challenges.With light-weight devices which are connected in the environment of IoTnetworks, huge volume and various data can be gathered from all over the world.It is crucial to secure and utilize such Big data. In this talk, the speakerwill introduce his research on design and security analysis of cryptographicprimitives, and cryptographic application in construction secure protocols forbig data utilization and IoT-enable services, including secure data outsourcedanalysis,  privacy-preserving data mining and data management, secureauthentication schemes for IoT devices and so on.

 

Short Bio:

The speakerChunhua Su received the B.S. degree for Beijing Electronic and ScienceInstitute in 2003 and received his M.S. and PhD of computer science fromFaculty of Engineering, Kyushu University in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He iscurrently working as an Associate Professor in Division of Computer Science,University of Aizu. He has worked as a research scientist in Cryptography &Security Department of the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore from2011-2013. From 2013-2016, he has worked as an Assistant professor in School ofInformation Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. From2016-2017, he worked as Assistant Professor in Graduate School of Engineering,Osaka University. His research interests include cryptanalysis, cryptographicprotocols, privacy-preserving technologies in data mining and IoT security& privacy.
